So, there's this indie game in progress called Thrive that aims to "succeed where Spore failed." Sounds like a great game, but EA probably won't agree to a major threat. So, what's your opinion?

Anyways, on your point about EA taking notice, I don't think that's really a problem. Thrive won't be as polished as Spore, at least at first, and it intends to go for a narrower audience of people who want more realism.

I joined the team for Thrive. Although I haven't contributed much yet, I hope to in the future when I'm more knowledgeable in programming.
