The SNS and the VCC are happy to announce the 2010 SNS-VCC Design-A-Ship Challenge. It will begin today, Aug 20, run for 11 days and end Tues Aug 31 at midnight PST. The challenge is pretty simple. The ship you see in the creation you see here was made with a certain set of parts. The challenge is to make a ship using some of the same parts. You can see the parts you have to use in the creation called ?SNS-VCC Ship Challenge Part 2? The rules also are pretty simple: You can add parts, resize parts, reshape parts, and recolor parts, but you CANNOT take any parts away. You can make as many ships as you like. Please keep the tags, 'Hilight', M5000, and 'SNSVCC810', so we can find the ships you make for the contest. All the ships you make will be added to the contest sporecast called ?SNS-VCC Ship Challenge.? First, second, and third prizes will be given out, and several special prizes as well. In all likelihood there won't be a forum thread concerning the challenge, although there will be some discussion about it in both the SNS forum thread here: http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/60349.page
