Xenocom's immediate successor to the N-37, the Damascus-Wing was a corporate attempt to appeal to the pilots who modified the N-37s by adding a factory standard advanced navigation computer and wing mounted energy weapons. Xenocom's efforts produced a reliable ship, yet reduced the original appeal found in the N-37 which essentially was its customizability. The N-38 featured no side jet for sharper turns, but had more physical armor and had the option of being purchased with a plasma energy shield being factory installed. The N-38 was considered a good all around ship, but by many was considered a step backward from the original N-37. N-38s are commonly found throughout the galaxy used by relatively wealthy governments as medium fighters. Individual pilots often use these as their first ship because of its availability, all around stable performance and its easy to learn controls.(Created by Yorpy)
