Excerpts from the diary of an unknown explorer(name lost due to damage to book): ..."Expedition day three 11:32 AM SGT(standard galactic time)...
This uncharted planet seems to be devoid of life except for moss and bacteria. Perhaps my bio scanner is on the fritz again, ill have to take a look at it when i get back to the ship."
..."Day three 4:11 PM SGT... As I walk along this rocky hill side i can't shake the feeling that im being watched. I look around to see if anyone's there but nothing but rocks and endless wastelands.
Minutes ago I thought i heard a strange humming sound, like the vibration of a tuning fork. Again I looked around and again only me and countless rocks. The heat must be getting to me, id rest but i want to reach the ship before night fall." ..."Day three i don't know the time because those bloody things smashed my watch... I cant believe my eyes, moments ago the rocks suddenly sprung off the ground and joined together to form monstrous creatures. The rocks are floating in air held together by some unseen force. I can think of no scientific explaination for this but that is the least of my problems. They chased me all the way to my ship, I managed to get inside and seal the hatch but to my dismay it seems I dropped the ignition key outside while i was running from them. As i write this those rock monsters are smashing away at the hatch, they are determined to get inside and it seems its only a matter of time before they do. I fear these might be my last moments alive, if anyone finds this diary please take it to my fiance on planet Aigaio. I only wish I had made more time for her instead of my work. They're coming for me, I love you Elizabeth." ......
