Description
Just an experiment to see if I can pull off a convincing upward arch. It still looks kind of crappy, but I like the shape.
I have no idea what it was built for. A fancy apartment building? The Institute for Individual Thinking? A cult center? You tell me.

Could be used as a landmark...maybe due to Chekov's gun,it would be important later on in the story.Chekov's Gun:Something introduced early on becomes important later in the story.Maybe it is a rocket.Or it amplifies the villain's WoMD.
