Description
A secretive collective of different species who were born in what is called the Reef, the Reefborn kept themselves hidden for most of Galactic history, only revealing themselves shortly before the Tyranid Invasion. The Reef itself is a massive asteroid field located between two galactic arms, littered with debris from battles long forgotten, thus making it a treasure trove of ancient technology. It is among this debris and asteroids were the Reefborn make their home, and they are openly distrustful of outsiders. However, this softened when the Queen of the Reef, Mara Sov, sent a delegation to the NGA to lend assistance against the Tyranids, and in the wars aftermath they opened their boarders to anyone who was willing to live and work for the Queen. In recent times the Reefborn have began to build up a worthy navy, as before they relied on subterfuge and secrecy to keep them safe, but with the Cabal beginning to make incursions into Reef space, they know it is only a matter of time before they will need to defend their territory from invaders.
