There's a theory that Heptus is infact responsible for the bermuda triangle disappearences, although other aquatic monstrum are also rivaling canadates

And like starfish, it can regenerate, infact it can regenerage most of its body, very quickly, for example, it can regenerate a lost limb in only 15-20 minutes
