Description
Östran State troopers are the main infantry for the Republic of Östra, perhaps the most advanced Nation in the Zalos galaxy.This makes for powerful and versatile troops. Being a human nation Östra keeps good relations with Alda and the CDF. Östran troops are armed with a bullpup ion assault rifle and segmented power armor that provides excellent protection. They are also equipped with an advanced cyclops helmet that has night vison and thermal vision settings if the situation calls for it. Östran units are very well educated and trained making them on par with nations like Tilea and Alda in troop quality. Östran war doctrine usually revolves around rapid attacks by bombardment or artillery before sending in waves of combined arms units to confused and destroy enemy positions.
