Description
A genetically modified Arctic Fox capable of providing effective transportation over the arctic tundra. Slightly smaller than a quarter horse, the fox has been genetically modified to have the traits needed to make it a partner in survival. A modified digestive system allows it to be a complete omnivore able to eat both meat and plants. A very strong "herd" instinct was introduced so that kits could be imprinted on their masters. And of course their coats were increased to provide a kind of fur/wool for the inhabitants to use for clothing. Most Dire Foxes live as valued members of family units.
