Description

Although it has no potential to actually change color, the Fenmir Chameleon does however have a remarkable ability to absorb the scant amount of sunlight on its icy planet through the use of the extended plates on its ?wings?. It can then use the stored energy to brightly flash a variety of colors from the crystals on its back, blinding predators long enough for it to bolt in escape. Other uses of these crystals include attracting a mate and radiating heat to capture the attention of the small blood seeking pests it feeds on.
