To your question: Yeah, freedom CAN prevent you from sharing. AddDNA however, will never prevent you from sharing, only using your creation in-game. :)

And finally: While it is possible to do basically everything with connectors, it can become a huge pain in the butt long-term. This mod allows you to turn all building parts using TAB like you would in any other editor. It should go in your /Data folder.

If you don't intend to use your building in-game, don't be afraid of using "AddDNA" to increase your funds.
