Description
Commonly deployed to protect frontier worlds, these small ships lack an FTL drive and tend to spend most of their time patrolling the high atmosphere rather than deep space. They can even glide well enough to make an unpowered landing, albeit a rough one.

Very cool, but a thought occurs: spaceships actually tend not to tarnish/rust/corrode because theres no atmo, but the same can't be said of high altitude ships, so I think their paint job might be a little less immaculate...
