Description
A fictitious animal of the fictitious Order Rhinogradentia, discovered by the fictitious naturalist Harald Stümpke living on the fictitious Hi-Yi-Yi Archipelago, where almost all animals were members of Order Rhinogradentia, shrew-like creatures that had evolved to fill every ecological niche on the islands, the noses of which had evolved into a number of highly specialized appendages. Most of these creatures, such as 'Tyrannonasus imperator', used their noses for locomotion, but others used it for various other uses such as a lure to fish for prey or a rudder for flight. The islands and everything living on them were allegedly destroyed during a WWII atomic bomb test.

Awesome tripod shrew. Why walk around on your legs when you can walk on your nose!
