Le Ténia du Boeuf (Taenia saginata) est un Ver solitaire, un parasite interne de la famille des Céstodes qui peut faire plus de 12 mètres. Ce Cyclophyllidae est présent chez les Bovins et c'est la seule espèce de Ténia encore présente en Europe.

T. saginata mainly differs from the other Tapeworm that can infect Humans, Taenia solium through its scolex (the "head" of the parasite) without hooks.

The Beef Tapeworm (Taenia saginata) is a long long long (up to 12 meters long) Cyclophyllid Cestod that lives can be found in cattle and that can grown in the Human's bowel too. It's the unique species of Tapeworm that can be found in Europe.
