She sighed and pulled the second blanket over herself. Probably not. The sponsors didn't tend to have pity.

All she could was hope that Raina could srick it out until the morning. And, more importantly, hope that a sponsor would somehow be kind enough to send her medicine.

She helped Raina up and half-dragged, half-carried her to her shelter. She covered her with a blanket and looked around. She hadn't gotten any herbs, and it was too late to try and gather some.

Suddenly, she heard a noise. Some coughing and a thud. She hurried outside and spotted Raina on the ground, caked in blood. Josie froze. She could leave Raina there to die. But she wasn't that heartless.
