-More refined shape.The Fafnir Class Battlecruisers are successor to the Kronos Class. The replacement comes with a number of improvements, most notably the removal of a large blind-spot, and the addition of a hangar. The main feature of Fafnir (much like the Kronos) are the twin 'Checkmate' ballistic cannons, which are devestating to even the largest vessels, but the new main battle turrets are powerful enough to make a statement on the battlefield on their own. In addition to weaponry, an innovative group of Chemical Engineers studying in the Davion University of Carthage helped design a new coolant for the Checkmate cannons that occupies 32% less space in the nose, leaving more room for... ship stuff.After a series of tests performed on a Fafnir prototype, military officials were pleased. Before being introduced into the fleet, several engineers modified the design of the engines to provide for a more aesthetic feel. This, of course, had little effect on production or cost.

Yah, I agree with you. I tried to put that as a red dot site for the missiles but it did turn out fairly disconnected from the rest of the mech.
