Description

This is the first of many creations ultimately leading up to my adventure (and exobiology project) about the newly discovered planet HD 40307g that is only 42 light years from Earth. As it lies in the Goldilocks Zone and has a moderate temperature of 42 degrees Farenheit, it provides an ideal location for liquid water and possibly life. Like all herbivores on HD 40307g, this creature has multiple tongues protruding from a small mouth underneath its neck. The tongues are about two feet long and have bone like tips at the ends to grind food before swallowing. It has chromataphores at its tail to ward off enemies and communicates through bioluminescence. As it has no eyes, it sees through emitting low pitch growls. The electromagnetic pulse from any nearby organisms will let it know if it is in danger. Its acute sense of smell through the breathing organs on its side allow it to sniff out nonliving obstacles in its way.
