the battle may be in Algonias favor but you seemed to have forget about the squadrons of bombers trailing the York fleets. yet i do fear the fact that the Algonian fleets have a large number of destroyers...

The other advantage the York's have is 9 battleships compared to Algonia's 6, though the 6 Algonia has are generally better armed than the York's

However, the battle is taking place near York's territory, so they may be able to fly in some aircraft to help out. However, the Algonians do already have aircraft on the way to that position from their mainland too.

The Algonians also have 4 fleet carriers, which will be hanging back in the battle and launching aircraft, while the Yorks only have 2 escort carriers.
