When they combine technologies acquired from client empires in payment for pulling them back from the brink of extinction with their own extensive biological expertise the resulting advancements can be quite profitable. One such recent advancement that propelled their medical services forward was the acquisition of a new level of advanced AI. Already light years ahead in the field the Kuuhrduronian physicians immediately recognized the advantage of having fully interactive non-biological assistants in the med-labs for dealing with contagions and dangerous toxins. Combining these droids with their ability to wrap patients in custom containment fields completely eliminates the risk of spreading infectious agents. The surface of the droid?s exterior shell projects a resonance field that can be tuned to the same frequency as the patient?s containment field allowing it in and out to diagnose the patient without ever lowering the field.
