PrologueAge: Ten ?It's a nice day, you should go outside,? my mom said on the morning of the last day of peace, of course no one knew that yet. ?Will do, hold on,? I replied, ?anything we need?? ?Actually, I was going to the store, but if you would go instead, I have a lot to do around here. Here's the list.? ?O.K., I'll see you in a bit,? I was wrong, you see, I never got back, I never even got to the store. This is what happened, you know that ?The world's gonna end at 2012,? well, the thing is, only war ended in that year, NATO stayed around for a while, then eventually ended seeing how there was no need for them after twenty years of no war. But what happened on that one day, where I left to the store, would change everything. You see, up until that point, the closest thing to being killed, was a car accident, overdose, or suicide, no one killed anyone, until I left, I forgot something so I went back, when I got there, these men,or women, dressed in all black, pulled out guns, and shot at me, missed me, I figured it was a warning shot, but still, why were people shooting at me?, I ducked behind a big boulder on the side of my house, I heard the door open, and then more gunshots, I saw the men running away, so I went inside. I knew what to expect. But it still was a shock, my mom, dad, and baby brother were dead.
