Description

'The yellow schoolbus had been abandoned at the outskirts of Innsmouth; all passengers and the driver had gone missing. An amorphous yellow sign had been carved into a rotted cedar trunk nearby, unearthing the meandering swamp trail, leading back behind sullen overgrowth towards that horrible blackwater crimescene. Discarded property had been scattered along the trail, backpacks and clothing..the driver, covered in mud and bile, had run through the midnight bayou without a single possession, except clutching onto that monstrous idol as if it were some sort of crucifix. What madness had converged upon him as he danced among those captives? coveting misplaced sanity behind now vacant eyes. The victims should not have endured such horrors, accosted by the hands of a trusted madman singing that accursed song..
