Description

About an hour had passed since Loki and Kerl sat down on at the shuttlebus stop outside the warehouse. The Eresleite and dark-skinned man had since left after "cuddling" for roughly half an hour. The spectacle seemed to have amused Loki a bit too much, but his Dzehmuulnian superior couldn?t care less. He was busy looking for some sign of the Opsmen, or at least a sign that the Quietus Star Brotherhood was actually up to something so that he wasn't wasting his time. Loki had suggested yet again that the two lovers on the other side of the surprisingly quiet street were the Opsmen assigned to them, and for the first time Kerl supposed that it might have been a possibility. After all, the two probably weren?t involved in construction, and their respective prosthetics DID look a bit like combat models. But why didn?t they give the two policemen a sign? Finally, after another half hour, Kerl stood abruptly, snow falling from his spines. ?Damn it Loki. I?m getting sick of this. Orders or not, nobody?s throwing us a bone here and I don?t feel like leaving empty-clawed.? Loki stood as well. ?Can?t say I disagree with that, boss. And if those two civilians ARE our support, I guess they?re already on their way.? Kerl nodded in reply, and the two Cross Systems officers made their way across the street towards the warehouse. Taking a moment to memorize some key points of the Quietus Star jargon on the way, Kerl suddenly stopped. A small hovercar patiently made its way around him with disturbingly little surprise, and Loki turned to look at his partner. ?What is it, Kerl?? Kerl looked in the direction of the warehouse, not looking at anything in particular. ??Nothing. I guess it?s nothing.? Loki shrugged. ?Good afternoon, gentlemen.? The two policemen were momentarily startled by a calm, almost patronizing human voice. Looking to the shadows, Kerl noticed a tall, thin man clad in a hoverbiker?s powered armor leaning against the outside of the warehouse, casually flipping a coin. ?Some weather, huh? Oh, wait. Sorry, I forgot it always snows on Tradaitoshi. I don?t stop here often. You don?t happen to know where the old Klythle building is in this sector, do you?? Loki strode up to the man, his metal feel clicking on the ice and nanoplaster. ?You?re leaning against it. Which begs the question? What are you doing here?? The biker scoffed and continued to toss his coin. ?You sound like a cop or something. I?m just waiting for someone? Important. Good to know I?m in the right place, wouldn?t want to disappoint.? Loki shrugged. ?Fair enough.? The armored biker then looked to Kerl. ?So what brings you two to this grungy part of town? Can?t be anything nice, only crooks hang around here.? ?Speak for yourself,? Loki muttered silently. Kerl grinded his mouthparts together impatiently. ?That?s for us to know and for you to simply speculate. And speaking of which? We?re late. Come on, Loki. Don?t want to? Miss the party.? Loki nodded. ?Nope. Well, stranger, take care I guess. Hope you meet up with whoever you?re looking for.? The stranger nodded. ?You do the same. Watch your back.? The man spoke these last words with a bit of an edge, earning him a strange look from Kerl. The two undercover cops left towards the warehouse without another word. The stranger flipped his coin once again, and a small communicator in his helmet chimed. ?Are the Epochs in position?? asked a gravelly voice on the other end. ?Yes. They just walked into the felhnrak nest.? The voice on the other end growled something to another speaker. ?Good. Watch them closely. If this mission goes south?? The biker shook his head. ?I know what is at stake. I will not fail you.? The other speaker grunted. ?Good.? Not another word was spoken. The biker deftly leapt onto the roof of an adjacent building and crept towards the warehouse. "Don't screw up..."

THANK GOD, I think they just changed the whole format of it too... Anyway, like I said I don't know the requirements of one, but would a re-make of a creation be considered a comission? me being the one choosing the creation of course.

I never really could decide whether I'll be independant (talking about AC-V online mode) or just start a little 'empire'. You said you'll make an empire, so if I do too, we'll be rivals. On the other hand, I like my independance. More of a loner than a lea
