Description

Evelyn started life as a household A.I. for a small human family of four. The family was quite wealthy and the head of the household, an Ouroboros Industries developer, was known to collect vintage war machines which he stored in the house's expansive underground hangar. One day, as the conflict between Klythle Shipyards and Ouroboros Industries was reaching its peak, a group of Klythle-hired mercenaries invaded the family's home during a family reunion. As it was, the head of the household was the lead developer in the first line of InverTech fighter-mecha, making him a prime target. Over the years, the household A.I. had bonded with her owners, to the point of viewing them as a shepard does his flock, or a mother grizzly does her cubs. The second the first shots were fired, Evelyn -as her owners called her- exploded in blind fury and downloaded herself into a Ckzapallashcheian battlehound, and tore into the living room with an apocalyptic fury that terrified the family more than the mercenaries did. Long story short, she enveloped the interlopers in a bloody world of misery that would forever scar the minds of her owners. Regardless, news of the humble A.I.'s heroic deeds reached the press the next day, and Evelyn became a Combine national hero. Her exploits were soon eclipsed by the Excelsion tragedy, however, and the Combine's following involvement in the Kly Shp - O.I. war. As soon as she earned an identity for herself, the confused synthetic faded into obscurity. Yet in spite of suddenly being alone in the universe, Evelyn's strong sense of justice put her on the frontline, and with her incredible combat skills she soon found herself drawing attention from a very different audience: The Combine Black Ops. She now finds herself running field command duties for larger-scale black operations, namely small private wars fought against would-be threats to Combine security. Evelyn keeps to herself, but she has a great variety of intriguing war stories that she often tells at night to her fellow Opsmen. One in particular is a harrowing run-in with Seeker himself, a story that frightens the humans in her audience more than anything else.
