Kingdom: Animalia

Subphylum: Benthozoa
Class: Eubenthozoa
Order: Planktonivora
Family, Genus, Species: various
"Dusters" are the name given to a diverse group of benthozoans that feed on plankton and spend their entire adult lives in their burrows. some of their tube feet have evolved into feathery tentacles covered in sticky mucus, which the worm uses to trap plankton. It inserts the tentacles into the mouth repeatedly, swallowing up the trapped plankton. They also have specialized feelers surrounding their mouth to sense their environment, and when they sense the movement of a potential predator, the duster goes back into its burrow with breakneck speed. Benthozoans are a primitive group of carbochordates, complete with a notochord, that split off from the ancestor of the eucarbochordates and chitinoderms. The species here is Vermoshyster tropica, a worm that lives on the phytozoan reefs of the Shallowlands.

Lol. o_o Thanks for the lovely comment(s). l3 That sure was a long sentence.. xD Really weird yet sick looking parasectoid-like creature you've made here. Love those "feather-like" antennae's or what not. Great choice of colours, pretty realistic. Keep up
