A Revenant has many abilities, chief among them would be that of telekinesis. They seem to "know" when anything sentient is present, and will stop at nothing to anoint any living creature in effort to subjugate and make it one of its own. Fortunately they preserve some fundamental aspects of their seekers DNA, which leaves them vulnerable to primitive attacks. Cellular regeneration is a slow going process, should a Seeker or Salvage Crew 'Convict' find themselves cornered, somehow burning, crushing or impaling the aberration could slow it down, but in order to be completely rid of a Revenant, all of its remains must be eradicated.
