They hunt using movement, able to feel the rumble of the stealthiest feet. Like some spiders, this insect digs small holes to hide in when waiting for prey. The hole is both their home and a trap for some unexpecting animal. Along with a lethal tail and sharp teeth, this species is also armed with a parlyzing poison, able to spit at and quickly subdue any prey that is lucky enough to escape the first attack. Like most insects, the female is larger than the male. Their breeding cycle is rather morbid, after being fertilized, the female will kill and eat the male using him as nutrition during her cycle. This species does not lay eggs or give birth, during the cycle the young insects mature inside and eat their mother from the inside out as nutrition. This inevitably kills the mother, however in her place, over 100 new Morto Insectos are born.
