........................................................................... They are an abomination of life, a perversion of DNA, an unnatural metamorphosis composed of a sentient being who has willingly ingested the flesh of a Darkmatter Ghoul.
'Seekers' must first locate a ghost ship or an infestation of Ghouls and in an overzealous, and often misguided effort, feed on their flesh.
Donning traditional white linens, a group of seekers will board a ghost ship after following a salvage crew to its location. Protocol requires a salvage crew to fulfill certain obligations prior to boarding a suspected Ghostship, this provides a window of opportunity to the seekers. Although most will be slaughtered in the process, any seeker able to retrieve a sample of infected tissue without being infected themselves, could consume a minimal amount of corrupted flesh in hopes of attaining enlightenment or 'Embracing Chaos'.
