I wouldn't move to cars, and if you did I would recomend makeing the fronts of the cars less pointy and doing it in the land vehical editor.

I think with this creation it mainly needs fiddling with. I wouldn't move entirely to cars, try and keep your work varied.

I like to stray from ship editor. I want to be a well rounded creator. Saying that ships are my favourites.. :D
