Description
Vaal have been used as pets and guardians by the Kamorrans for thousands of years. Before that, they evolved underground and instead of eyes have a network of internal sensors that map the surrounding electromagnetic field. Selective breeding has yielded a durable, loyal, and intelligent companion. They can be trained for many tasks including law enforcement, hunting, and babysitting. A Vaal bonds to one individual owner for life and will fight to the death to protect it.
Based on genetic evidence it is speculated that the Kamorrans themselves evolved from some offshoot of this biological line. Unfortunately, their home planet's chaotic deserts are not very reliable sources of well-preserved fossils.
