Description

Journal of Xenoc Loss- 42nd day: The party had traveled for several minutes through the scrublands and into thicker jungle land. The trees reached far above our heads and strange creatures glided above our heads. This was when Pol sighted the herd. It was a magnificent sight. They stood as tall as the trees themselves. A large ridged head happened to glance at us, three sets of eyes continually scanned in all directions, one direction including me. It let out a low rumbling sound that I can only guess was created by a vocal chamber within the large head. Other members of the herd turned to face us. Almost as quickly they went back to feeding, we seemed all to small to be any threat. One look at the powerfully muscled legs told one flatly any attack would end in with you soaring into the atmosphere. Once again I patter on into thought... At the present I now watch as the beasts feed using a long tongue-like organ to pick leaves and nuts from the trees and shrubs. The serenity of the moment was otherwise lost though as [Hareot] called for us to continue.
