I look across my kingdom and wonder, what will happen when I'm gone? Will my castle still stand, will I be remembered, or will all this become a memory. I wish that I could live forever to watch over my land and make sure it will not be destroyed. But this I know shall never happen for dreams rarely come true. If I wish hard will it come true? If I give up something precious will it now? No not even the stars can hear my plea. Wait was is that I hear, whispers? Am I crazy? No these are real! What are these sounds this feeling! I feel as though I am floating! Oh my I am, but how? This is impossible! Wait I am going up to the stars, maybe even past them! No I stayed right where the stars were, looking down on my kingdom. Watching it grow old, as the years go by. But I stay the same, for I am now among the stars finally at peace, staring at the world. Watching it change watching it slowly wastes away. I realize now that this gift of life is now a curse. My kingdom is gone, my world is destroyed and I am left with nothing. Everything has become empty, stars slowly dying, leaving me alone in the darkness. Soon I too will be gone, for I have lost the will to live. Darkness closes in, I feel a tugging within. Soon I am a spirit being taken to where I should have gone long ago. Now I am glad to be freed of this curse, for now I can finally rule over my kingdom for the rest of eternity........
