Description
D'jahya are bipedal carnivores hailing from the dusty savannas of their homeworld. Thanks to frequent dust storms blotting out most visible light, D'jahya have not evolved eyes. Instead, they use infrared-sensitive spots (located in the armor of the head and chest) to sense their surroundings. They also poses highly versatile lungs, and can breathe in a range of atmospheres as long as the correct gasses are present in sufficient amounts. D'jahya can claim to be one of the more influential and advanced species in Aerdrol's arm of the galaxy.
As one of the more powerful species in Ashthi-explored space, the D'jahya's proposal of alliance with the Ashthi shocked many surrounding empires.Though their motives are unclear, it is believed by most empires that the D'jahya just wanted to learn more about the Ashthi's interesting biochemistry. Though the request was still strange, the Ashthi chose not to question their newfound alliance. With a D'jahya escort, Ashthi were able to get more respect within Ashthi-discriminating space.
