Description
The Mah'howre can proudly claim to be the first aliens to come into contact with the Ashthi people of Aerdrol. After several months of quiet observation from their mothership (known as "Khi'tssshu" by Aerdrol's sentient population), they finally descended to the surface to make contact with the natives. The months of waiting and watching payed off, as it helped them pick up on Ashthi language. Being able to speak the Ashthi in their own tongue earned the Mah'howre a warm welcome. The Ashthi scientific community viewed the Mah'howre's visit as a blessing from the gods, as the aliens were happy to share information about their technology and biochemistry. The Ashthi were very surprised to find that the Mah'howre were not silicon based, but based on carbon which had been previously thought unable to support life. Though initial contact with the Mah'howre was fruitful, relations would not always go so smoothly. Other nations of Ashthi were unhappy with the alien's visit, and viewed them as demons. To them, the gods could not have created any children other than the Ashthi. This meant that the Mah'howre could have only been created by some other, evil power. These more strictly religious factions of Ashthi readied for war against the alien "invaders".
