Description
The discovery of a unique pygostyle on its tail proves that it had a colorful vane of feathers. But since it lived in the desert, it probably had somewhat drabber plumage than those of other maniraptorans. It coexisted with Velociraptor, Achillobator, Oviraptor, Protoceratops, Therizinosaurus, Shanxia, Shuvuuia, Tarbosaurus and the newly-discovered Screaming Roadrunner.
