Description
Small, silicon based herbivores that hail from the planet Aerdrol's blue planes. Kh'rikiau are generally solitary, traveling at the very most in pairs of two. The Kh'rikiau spend most of their days browsing through the short, crystalline plants of their habitat in search of tasty roots and berries. They use their small, sharp tusks to dig these from the ground so they can suck out the nutritious juice inside. Kh'rikiau are generally docile creatures and are fairly intelligent, so they were some of the first species domesticated by the Ashthi race. Larger breeds of K'rikiau are often used as mounts, and stockier breeds are used as pack animals. Smaller breeds of K'rikiau are popular as pets, though they don't react well to crowded city life. Some K'rikiau are even bred for food, seeing as their Ashthi masters are carnivorous.
