UPDATE 12th most popular new creation 12/4/09 Yeeha! Thanks everyone! Related to the Nautilus, the ci'rencicli can be found roving the waters at the bottoms and edges of coral reefs. To move, it has several water vents on its back side, which channel water forced out of a bladder. It uses long antenna-like protuberances extending from its side to steer, along with two pairs of fins adorning its bottom. To feed, it seeks out detritus and small fish, securing it with spiny mandibles. It has developed a ridge of lateral spines that act as a sort of roll cage to protect it from predators. It has surprisingly good vision, due to the complex eyes lining its front.These eyes also double as photophores, enabling it to flash a psychedelic pattern to confuse prey and predators. Its ridged shell is extremely tough, and can withstand beatings from various large predators. Ci'rencicli live for a very long time; in some cases up to one hundred years. Often, small creatures will live inside the grooves of older ci'rencicli shells. When they die, their shells remain as a shadow of the former animal. However, it will often become a sanctuary for various young animals seeking protection.
