Description
Deinocheirus is an animal that is both highly unusual and highly speculative. For many years, all that was known of this beast was a pair of massive, ten-foot long arms with sharp claws to match. Nobody knew what this creature was for a long time. The sharp claws led people to believe that it was a gigantic predator, though the arm structure made people think it might have been a titanic Ornithomimid instead. And so for years this creature was highly debated. Until finally, in the past year or so, paleontologists returned to the original digsite in search of more of the elusive animal. They were successful, and reasonably complete remains of at least one individual. They have confirmed that Deinocheirus is indeed a ridiculously large Ornithomimid, however have not disclosed anything else at this point in time.

Its Awesome! Wow, those arms that were found were 8 feet long, and compare them to THIS! If that was Deinocheirus's body plan, it would have to be huge!

Since a couple people have commented on the size of the arms being too small, you need to consider how big the rest of the animal would need to be and the body plan this family had. Its about proportionate to the animal. I know what I'm doing.

I kind of wish the arms were a little bit bigger to fit the fossil that was found, but nice design.
