Just try to comment on a lot of peoples things, and enter as many contests as possible, Maxis or otherwise, and you will get your name out there.

The other way to get featured is by winning a Maxis contest. There are about three different contests going on right now in the forum. They are advertised on the community tab of Spore.com

Awesome dragon, you do have some great creatures. In order to get featured Maxis has to choose your creation.
