Description
The Sol Systems JKV-114 Tom Sawyer Explorer is a capable and popular two-man privateer used throughout the south arm. Named after an ancient song once popular on earth, the ship features an extensive compliment of system exploration equipment, seen here on the forward fuselage by the sides of the cockpit. Scanners include both biology and anthropology sensors, a nano-probe launcher, and a global linguistics mapping sensor. The JKV-114's engine is photon multiplying design, is quite powerful for its weight and uses micro-bots for rapid self-repair. Defense is handled by a long range sabot cannon and electron scatter missiles. The ship also carries an advanced shield that is able to protect the craft and render it invisible to many sensors as well.
