Description

A desert-dwelling creature of the planet Ko'jkara. The Rothag's meat in extremely tasty, so it is hunted every year to near extinction. That is not a problem, because Rothags, male or female, can reproduce alone. They lay about 200 eggs each, and all of the hatchlings reach adulthood. What's more, after reaching adulthood (which takes about 5 Earth months), the new Rothags lay their eggs, too. To keep it so that there is always plenty of Rothag, there is only one big hunt on Ko'jkara each year, in which 90% of the world's population is decimated.
