This giant South American dinosaur is the largest known meat eater. although it lacked The powerful jaws of T-Rex it was as large if not larger. Giganotosaurus belongs to the Carcharadontosaurus family, who descended from dinosaurs like Allosaurus.

acually i hate to tell you this but the more current spinosaurus fossils show that it was 60ft long and had a skull that was 6-7 ft long. giga' was the SECOND biggest theropod ever to live.the old spino fossils were smaller but then got destroyed.
