Description
Masiakasaurus was a small predator from the Cretaceous of Madagascar. Its most unique feature is the fact that the teeth at the front of the mouth stuck outward, and the lower jaw had a slight downward curve. It is a feature not seen in any other dinosaur. Paleontologists believe that this would allow it to effectively catch fish and possibly other small prey. (#83 on the MPN 08/12/09)
