Description

OMG! thank you SO much Maxis for featuring this! it means a lot! this is the first REAL dinosaur that has bean featured I think. it's a great honor. thanks again! --------------------------------------------------------- Triceratops was a 25 to 30 foot Ceratopsia from late Cretaceous North America. Recent studies of an extremely well preserved specimen showed that all along triceratops' back were thick scales, each with a deep hole in it. One theory is that these holes held long quill-like structures. (if you haven?t heard about this than that is because it has yet to be published. lhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Dinosaurs/Image_review#Alert_for_artists:_Ceratopsian_skin_impressions
