I found a cheat and a glitch. They were the same thing. If you go to the building that looks like a hole(With the power-ups)go in it. You'll notice the Rancor won't attack no matter how close he gets.

damn! in the last act, all i had left was to talk to threepio, but then my game crashed X| ill just skip right onto 4th

Second Opinion: The Rancor fight was extremely balanced and actually enjoyable. I love your attention to background details which are apparent upon viewing the adventure in the editor. Possibly one of the greatest adventures ever.
