If you like my creations, please rate and/or comment on spore.com! -- The U'urqa are an anthropoidal race of lizards whose genetic makeup is easily and quickly influenced by their surroundings. The number of U'urqa offshoots is disputed (some reports estimate close to a thousand, others a hundred), but of these, there are some who have become sentient (and even space-faring in some cases). The one thing all these U'urqa have in common is their unrivaled jumping ability; nearly five thousand muscles in their legs alone collaborate to propel the lizard an average distance of five hundred feet--almost 100 times the height of the U'urqa! The U'urqa shown here is a rare specimen of a "true" U'urqa: that is, one that has not left the cool, temperate forests of its main habitat,and therefore not influenced by outside forces. The U'urqa's native world, where true U'urqa are most common, has been designated a Class II Non-Approachable Body by the Galactic Society of Ecologists, so that these lizards may be preserved.
