Description
"The winds bear the stench of death in them, and the clouds swallow the living like beasts." Heavily armoured and savagely primitive by Legion standards, the Maisma race took the Legion of Flesh by surprise when they came to claim the gas giant inhabitants. The Legion could not destroy the gaseous planets thse beings called home, and any ventures into the mists would end with reports of the clouds themselves fighting the invaders. Only through the poisoning of the methane with high levels of boron gas were the Legion able to draw out their foe. Space-faring Leviathians and smaller creatures swarmed the Legion ships by the thousands, but they ultimately fell as every race before them had. Once adopted into the Legion of Flesh, the Maisma chose to leave themselves unaltered by Legion technology and brought with them their ancient art of bioengineering, which far surpassed the skill of the Vile Creature engineers. Redsky, tribal chieftan of all the Maisma race, is their representation in the Legion Council.
