Description
Although vegetarian, the Throttletongue is a mortal threat to all animal life.They wander in small groups around fens and marshes until they find a suitable drinking hole. Here they take root during the day whilst their pustules ooze into the water - woe betide anything that drinks that liquid,Its tongue will swell until its chokes.During the night these fungi uproot and begin their macabre harvest,dragging away the bulge eyed fruits of their noxious activities. These are piled in a rancid den and left to rot in readiness for winter spawning.
