Description

Continued from Tnt-productions page.....Interview with Auraa...... 9. What advice would you give to someone new to Spore?
There are a few pieces of advice I would love to share with new spore creators
1) Follow lazywnch's GUIDE: How to Get Your Creations Seen and Commented! it's wonderfully sound advice!

2) If you admire a design or technique used by another creator that you wish to try, always credit the original creator in the tag and/or description of your creation. Nothing is more annoying then seeing your ideas claimed as another creator's so it won't win you any points with the original creator. However if you credit the original creator you may flatter him/her and gain a supporter. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and it can be an asset if executed properly.

3) Create Create Create! The more creations you share the better the chance you will create something another Spore user will like but never use quantity as a substitute for quality.

10. Do you have any creatortips/tricks you'd like to share?
I'd like to share a few tips I've picked up on detailing
1) Layer and manipulate parts to give the desired effect. Most detail parts like to attach to the body or limbs of a creation so if you don't like the way a part attaches or its to big/long/raised for your purpose hide it under another part or inside parts of the body (like were limbs attach).

2) Move limbs out of the way while detailing areas around them, move them back when done, this will ensure the details don't move with the limbs when not intended.

3) Take time when detailing move the part exactly where you want it, zoom in if you have to. Doing so will give your creation a tighter more cohesive look, I've seen many creations that had a perfectly good base but was lessened with sloppy detail work.

4) Don't forget the feet! I've seen some wonderfully armored and outfitted creatures running around in bare feet (I'm guilty of this myself) some creations are meant to be bare footed but if it's not your intention use a foot part that is easier to make shoe-like and save enough complexity/DNA to cover the feet.

This used the freedom cheat, right? So how did you uploaded it? I tried with one of my creations, but it didn't work. If you want to answer, do it on one of my creations :)
