Description
The Choa-Len 'Star Hopper' is a long haul craft that is exclusive to the Emperor and his Dignitaries. It is a large Hydrogen Mass driver powered ship and is capable of FTL transport. The external Hy-collector replenishes fuel in flight by means of proton stripping and conversion to raw energy for the ships use. It is lightly armed as the ship always travels with a small fleet of protective ships and is also protected by the Interstellar Dignitary Laws treaty that govern this part of the galaxy. It is always under a flag of truce, to violate the law by attacking a ship under this class is to breech all sane protocol and literally sign a death warrant for the offending planet or Empire. All Empires sworn under the treaty of I.D.L. would respond to the offender without mercy. This happened once in past history and was a brilliant combined success in retaliation against the transgressors. It was shown to have such devastating effect, that no Empire could ever stand against the onslaught of over a thousand Empires at once. To this date no Empire has ever attempted a breech of the I.D.L. treaty again. [Ship design by Al B.
