-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- The Reectaran are a species of herbivore that evolved on a planet widely enveloped with dense green conifer forests. The fruiting species of plants are scarce and several rival species wage fierce territorial battles to protect the ones they find. Instead of joining in these skirmishes the Reectaran feed primarily on tubers and other rooting vegetables which can be highly difficult to find. To aid them in their search they have an extremely keenly developed sense of smell, which also warns them of the approach of the predators that prowl the woods. The claws on their larger central arms are perfected for raking through the soil to reach their food. Reectaran often forage in small family groups with the elders perched on small rises sampling the winds for the scent of danger.
